How it works. Aura Gum EA.

Aura Gum is a non-martingale MT5 EA that is a perfect choice for smaller accounts; here is how it works smartly.
  • DI-Powered Market Filtering

Aura Gum EA uses a Directional Indicator (DI) filter to identify periods of stronger directional movement before placing trades. The EA compares +DI and -DI and only begins a new trading cycle when the configured DI difference reaches the required threshold, helping the system avoid entering every market condition.

  • Dual Breakout Execution

When the market passes the DI filter, Aura Gum EA places two pending breakout orders: a Buy Stop above the current Ask price and a Sell Stop below the current Bid price. Each order is placed with a predefined initial Stop Loss, allowing the EA to automatically react when price breaks in either direction.

  • Automatic Breakout Execution

Once the market triggers one of the pending orders, Aura Gum EA immediately cancels the opposite pending order. The EA then switches into active trade management, continuously monitoring the open XAUUSD position instead of manually managing entries and exits.

  • Smart Jump-Lock Profit Protection

After the active trade reaches the configured profit threshold, the Jump Lock system moves the Stop Loss into profitable territory. This locks a predefined amount of profit while allowing the trade to continue running rather than closing immediately at the first profit level.

  • Continuous Trailing Stop Management

After Jump Lock activates, the EA continuously adjusts the Stop Loss as the market moves in the trade’s favor. For a Buy position, the trailing Stop Loss follows below the Bid price; for a Sell position, it follows above the Ask price. This automated trailing mechanism is designed to protect accumulated gains while keeping the position open for further movement.

  • Automatic Recovery & Cycle Restart

When a position closes through its Stop Loss or trailing Stop Loss, Aura Gum EA automatically resets and begins looking for the next valid trading cycle. The EA also includes reconnect and crash-recovery logic that detects existing positions after a restart and resumes management when appropriate.
