How it works. Aura Gum EA.
Aura Gum is a great Grid trading bot that uses smart DI filter to identify the choppy market and starts gridding.
- DI-Powered Market Filtering
Aura Gum EA uses a Directional Indicator (DI) filter to evaluate market conditions before starting a new trading cycle. The EA compares +DI and -DI and calculates their difference. A new cycle is initiated only when the DI difference remains within the configured limit, helping the system avoid entering during strongly directional market conditions.
- Dual Breakout Execution
When the market passes the required filters, Aura Gum EA places two pending breakout orders around the current market price: a Buy Stop above the Ask price and a Sell Stop below the Bid price. This allows the EA to automatically react to whichever direction the market breaks first.
- Automatic Breakout Execution
Once one of the breakout orders is triggered, Aura Gum EA detects the active position and removes the remaining pending orders. The EA then identifies the direction of the active basket and switches automatically into recovery management.
- Adaptive Recovery Grid
If price moves against the active position, Aura Gum EA automatically adds a recovery position after the configured distance has been reached. The system uses a tighter recovery spacing for the first six levels and then automatically switches to a wider spacing from level seven onward. This creates a progressively spaced recovery structure instead of adding positions at one fixed distance.
- Smart Lot Progression
Aura Gum EA supports a customizable lot-size sequence for recovery trades. Once the predefined lot sequence has been completed, the EA automatically continues the progression using the configured lot multiplier. This allows the recovery system to adapt its position size as additional levels are required.
- Basket Average-Price Target
Instead of managing each recovery trade independently, Aura Gum EA calculates the volume-weighted average entry price of the active basket. It then calculates a common Take Profit level from that average price and continuously updates the positions accordingly. This allows the entire recovery basket to target a coordinated exit.
